Taking this step toward therapy can feel vulnerable and maybe a little intimidating, but it’s also incredibly empowering. I’m Akanksha; I’m so glad you’ve found your way here and I’m here to support you.

Life has a way of presenting us with challenges that can feel overwhelming to navigate alone. My role is to help you not just get through these challenges, but to discover your own strengths and shift your entire experience of life. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where we work together to create meaningful goals, resolve conflicts, and build the confidence you need to thrive.

Self-care isn’t just something I recommend, it’s something I actively practice. You’ll find me curled up with a good book, listening to my favorite podcasts, or taking peaceful walks with my dog. I’m a firm believer in intentional mindfulness, and I love exploring how these practices can become part of your own journey toward wellness.

Professional Background:

Akanksha is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She has 12 years of experience in Social Services working with diverse age groups and backgrounds. Additionally, she is trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis and has over four years of experience providing individual therapy to adults, children, and youth.
